Flora.
Flora in the Pyrenees is quite different from the Alps. There are some plants specific to the Pyrenees only.
February daphne, spurge laurel or spurge olive (Daphne mezereum), a very poisonous plant.
Harebell (Campanula rotundifolia).
Pyrenean Thistle (Carduus carlinoides Gouan).
Alpine Lady's-mantle (Alchemilla alpina L.).
Flowering Armeria alpina (Armeria alpina).
We mostly came across wilted Arameria.

This is probably a lady's mantle (Alchemilla vulgaris). |
White Saxifrage (Saxifraga exarata Vill).
Saxifraga praetermissa D.A.Webb or Saxifraga moschata Wulfen.
Star Saxifrage (Micranthes stellaris).
Mossy saxifrage (Saxifraga bryoides).
Round Headed Rampion (Phyteuma orbiculare).
Moss campion (Silene acaulis) without flowers.

One of the species of Euphrasia, Eye Bright. It was used to treat eye infections in the past. |
Some hill sides we covered in these crocuses. They are specific to the Pyrenees only, they are called crocus of the Pyrenees or saffron of the Pyrenees (Colchicum montanum).
Golden root (Rhodiola rosea).
Common houseleek or St Patrick's cabbage (Sempervivum tectorum).
