Day eight. Andstabben.
We woke up and it was rainy and foggy. What a wise decision it was to go to the summit the previous evening.
We had breakfast and... went back to sleep. By the mid-day we decided to head back down.
The lower we got, the better was the view.
The clouds were all around us...
... then peaks would emerge from the clouds.
Hermannsdalstinden hides in the clouds.
A cloud caught up with us.
The grass is glistening in water droplets.
Each grass blade is studded with little droplets.
The weather got better and better.
Far below, a fjord appeared.
The clouds reflected off the rock and did not cover the slope.
While we were climbing up Merraflestinden, the clouds completely melted away and the visibility improved.
We walked down to the car park and went to climb Andstabben, our last peak in Lofoten. We still had plenty of free time before the ferry. We booked an overnight ferry to make the most of the last day.

We cooked dinner by the lake, repacked our backpacks and drove to the ferry terminal. This was the end of our short journey around the Lofoten. We were very lucky with the weather: we had sun all the time, except for the morning of the last day. It was very touristy, but we always managed to find some secluded spots.
