Day five. A camping spot by the seaside.
By evening we reached Bodø. Yasha and Magda, who had already walked in these places, knew a great camping spot. We pitched our tents in the dunes, a little away from the seashore. After dinner, we went to watch the sunset on the western part of the peninsula.

It wasn't a long wait.

The sun goes down very quickly.
It was overcast in the morning, but we went for a walk anyway. We didn't have much time as we woke up quite late.
We are traversing rocky seashore.
It looks a bit like Scotland.

The Mysterious Island.
The island is connected to the shore by a sandy bridge. Unfortunately, we did not have time to go down.
The northern part of the peninsula is very different from the southern part, with marshes...

We walked along rocky seashore.
We saw jellyfish in one cove.
Yasha and Sonya are looking at the eagles that landed nearby.
We moved quickly, jumping between the rocks.
The sea was amazingly clear.
We were in a hurry to get back, we had to catch the ferry to Lofoten.
We got to the bay that Yasha and Magda had dubbed "Little Bahamas."
That's where we watched the sunset yesterday.
A densely planted spruce forest. We thought all forests in Norway were natural but this evidently not the case.
We reached Bodø, picked up our hire car and headed to Bognes where we had a ferry booked to Lofoten. On the way we stopped for a break for a couple of minutes by an amazing lake.
