Day six. Tappen.
The ferry from Bognes to Lødingen only takes one hour. We were going to spend three whole days in Lofoten. The weather was forecast to be good. Lova had planned a varied programme for us. First, we camped on the shore of a small lake, not far from the main road. There was no good access to the water, so we had no neighbours.

We went swimming first thing in the morning.
We left the car in the large car park and went to conquer Tappen. View of the Sildpollneset peninsula with a little church with the red roof.
Lova had planned that we would climb part of the Kvittinden - Tappen - Stampen - Vatterfjordtinden range...
... and climb a few summits (Stampen is the peak on the right).
It wasn't that easy. We climbed the sharp ridge to Tappen, and decided that we'd had enough of it.
The ridge is quite exposed, but there are good holds and climbing is very easy.

We are almost at the top. We put on harnesses and some roped up for reassurance.

A pass between two peaks. From here we decided to descend down.

The descent was quite steep at first, but then we got to the grassy sections...
... and large rocks.
A spring flows out of the rock. The bright yellow spot around it is sphagnum moss.
