Alpine flora.
Every time we visit the mountains, we are amazed by the beauty and diversity of plants we come across.
Brown Knapweed (Centaurea jacea).
Alpine pasqueflower (Anemone alpina).
Аrnica (Arnica montana).
Mossy saxifrage (Saxifraga bryoides).
Yellow mountain saxifrage (Saxifraga aizoides).
Half-frozen saxifrage (Saxifraga).
Simple Leaved Milfoil (Achillea erba-rotta).
Alpine Willowherb (Chamaenerion fleischeri).

Common houseleek or St Patrick's cabbage (Sempervivum tectorum). |
Spiniest thistle (Cirsium spinosissimum) on the left, Adenostyles (Adenostyles alliariae) on the right.
Harebell (Campanula rotundifolia).
We noticed young red shoots on some bog blueberry (Vaccinium uliginosum) bushes. Perhaps they changed colour in cold weather.
Grey ragwort (Jacobaea incana).
Blue honeysuckle (Lonicera caerulea). We were not sure it it was edible, so we decided not to risk it.
