Day 7
Route finding towards the road was non-trivial. The ground around and below the tree line is very boggy in places. Once we got down to the tree line, we followed it in the direction of north-west until we came across a path leading towards the dam.

Our camping spot in a little depression was sheltered from the wind.
We got up quite early. We had to get down to our cars and then drive for about 6 hours to Skellefteå.

There were too much cloudberries in this valley.
Very yummy.
We first climbed a little hill and then descended on the pass.
The clouds would catch up with us and then dissolve again. Out target is the Suorvájávrre lake down below.

We first saw this reindeer herd very close by, they then ran away and reappeared again. There were quite a few reindeer in the herd, probably males only.

...but we still have to lose about 400 vertical metres.
Heavy rain started the same moment as we got to the cars. We jumped in and drove off.
Not many cars on the road but plenty of reindeer.
We drove to Jokkmokk for lunch, and then stopped by the Storforsen waterfalls on the Piteå river.
The river is very powerful.
