Day 3
We finally made it to the glaciers... We roped up on a wet glacier but it was not crevassed. There was no visibility and we had to correct our direction a couple of times. There was no rain but the wind was strong.

The raindeer were all around us.
The mountains attract clouds.
Reindeer are walking by.
The path went through colourful tundra along the lake.
The colour of the water in the lake reminded us of Alpine lakes.
There is a Saami hut by the lake, nobody else is allowed to use it.
A short break.
The clouds gathered but the rain was not forecast until the evening.

We turned into a valley which leads to our glacier.
The glacier was quite large but not steep.

We put on crampons and harnesses and started climbing up.
The horizontal sections on the glacier were very wet.
We roped up on the snow-covered glacier. There was still a lot of water under the snow.
We soon ascended into a cloud.
It was very windy on the pass but still no visibility.
We went round a small ridge and got to another glacier. We were planning to camp at the pass in front of us, but as it was quite windy, we camped just below.
We camped right here, at the end of the glacier. It was a good camping spot.
