Day 8 - Lyon
We only had 3 hours in Lyon. We drove to the suburbs, parked our car and took the tube to the centre of the old part of town.
We spent a while wandering along alleyways, admiring the sights. This is a very unusual house, apparently there are 3 of these in Lyon, but we only stumbled upon this one. One whole face of the house was painted on as you can see if you look closely. It's the entrance to a book shop.
People, flowers and birds were also drawn on the house. Even saints! We aren't sure, but it looks like all the famous people from Lyon live in this house.

This alley lead us from the Roman theatre to the river Rhone.

The Leon Cathedral (Santa Maria de Leon, 12th Century). Very pretty from the outside, but gloomy inside.
