Day 4
It was cloudy down in the valleys, but when we got to the top, the view was spectacular.
It was sunny where we were, above the clouds. You can just about see Mont Blanc protruding out of the clouds.
This ridge kept hiding behind the clouds, appearing every now and again.

This is Col de la Chambre (2800m) - one of the highest placest the ski-lifts went to; from there, it was a journey down into the grey clouds below.
The weather kept changing very rapidly.
The weather improved as the day went by.
A crowd on the Moutiere ski-lift enjoying the brief sunshine. On the left, you can see where some small avalanches came down, on the right someone decided to draw a figure of eight.
Sonya really liked this slope, because near the end there was a small half-pipe so she could jump from side to side.

In the evening, our balcony provided a view of the beautiful sunset.
Day 5
It wasn't as sunny today, so Maria only took a few pictures in the ski-lift.
