Day 2
Our second day in the mountains. Mont Blanc can be seen in the distance.
We all had lessons in the afternoon and in hindsight, we chose the most suitable day. Victor and the kids went off-piste with the instructor, whilst Maria was learning to carve.
There were still patches of untouched snow off-piste, as yesterday it was misty and it snowed, making off-piste skiing dangerous.

The previous week a lot of snow fell, leaving plenty for us to ski on.

Maria and Sonya preferred to stay on the piste, whilst the boys tested themselves off the piste.

Everyone watched as Yasha tried to find his skis in the deep snow.

The number of blue runs made skiing a pleasure for Sonya and Maria.
A frozen waterfall; ever so pretty, but unfortunately you could't get up to it to have a closer look.
