Day 2. Soustal valley - Bietenlücke pass - Seewlifura pass - Sefinental valley.
This was a long day, with very considerable climb and descent. We went over the Bietenlücke and Seewlifura passes and walked down to the Sefinental valley. We followed well-trodden paths, which helped us achieve everything that was planned in good time. Bietenlücke is an interesting pass with steep rise, narrow ridge and steep descent. Some cables are bolted to the rocks to help the walkers. As an alternative to Bietenlücke we considered the possibility of climbing Chilchflue Sattel (to descend in the same valley), but due to lack of time and uncertain conditions of the paths, we went for Bietenlücke.

At last! Bietenlücke pass!

After the pass we came down onto a flat meadow. The whole area was covered with beuatiful blue flowers (Aconitum napellus monk's hood or aconite). There was also Cirsium spinosissimum, which looks like common thistle.
We saw fancy, layered cliffs next to Birg mountain. On the edge of the cliffs you can see a lift station.

Schiltbach valley. We needed to cross the ridge and go down into the neighbouring valley.
Going down to Sefibach valley then further on into Sefinental.

Happy Birthday!
We camped in a wonderful place near the joining of two rivers. It seems that some other local people had camped there as we found some tarpaulin and food supplies. But we didn't see any one.
