Day 1. Lauterbrunnen - Grütschalp - Soustal valley.
The trip started in Lauterbrunnen. We got there quite late. Our flights were delayed a bit, and one forgetful mountaineer left his... mountaineering boots (!) at home. Fortunately, there was a sports shop in the airport which was open on Sunday, and they had suitable boots (size 46!). After we collected the pro-ordered gas cansiters and got to Lauterbrunner, there was little time left before dusk.

We left our car at the car park and went on a lift to Grütschalp - the trip had started!
A long way down, on the other side of the valley is Wengen.
And here is snowy Jungfrau, hiding shyly behind the clouds.

We are leaving the forest area.
We camped not far from this clearing. We just managed to put our tents up before dark, and we had tea under the stars.
